Wethersfield elementary school principal arrested, placed on leave

WETHERSFIELD – A Wethersfield elementary school principal was placed on leave Monday following his arrest over the weekend at a Hartford Walmart. On Saturday, John Bean, principal at Highcrest Elementary School in Wethersfield, was arrrested at the Walmart at 495 Flatbush Avenue in Hartford for interfering with police and second-degree breach of peace.
