West Nile Virus found in mosquitoes in Hartford

HARTFORD – State officials Thursday said mosquitoes have trapped at Keney Park on August 19 tested positive for West Nile Virus.
Mosquitoes infected with the West Nile Virus have now been found in 15 Connecticut towns, with Wethersfield, Glastonbury and Darien added to the list most recently.
The risk of contracting it by humans is very low but there is a higher risk of exposure during warmer weather.
