Waterbury boy, 14, killed in bicycle accident

WATERBURY — A Waterbury teen was killed Tuesday morning when he was riding his bike and hit by a car.
Police said they were called to intersection of Cooke Street and Chase Avenue at 5:15 a.m. Police found the teen in the street with a serious head injury.
The victim was taken to Waterbury Hospital and was pronounced dead about a half hour later. Police later identified him as Alex Suarez, 14.
Police are investigating the accident.
