Vehicle fire closes I-95 south in New Haven

A vehicle fire has closed Interstate 95 south in New Haven on Wednesday morning. State Dept. of Transportation officials said I-95 south is closed between exits 51 and 47. Authorities have not given an estimate for when the highway will reopen. It’s unclear if anyone is injured in the vehicle fire.
