UConn Routs Tulane, Opens Season 20-0 For The 11th Time

STORRS, Conn. (WTIC and AP) – Katie Lou Samuelson scored 15 of her 19 points in the first half to lead UConn to a 98-45 rout of Tulane on Saturday and a 20-0 start to the season for the 11th time in program history.
Kia Nurse scored 14 for the Huskies (9-0 American Athletic Conference) and tied a career high with seven rebounds.
UConn had six players in double figures for the sixth time this season.
