Two New Haven Police Officers Shot

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Two New Haven police officers were shot Saturday morning responding to an earlier shooting incident, city officials say.
A city spokesman says the shootings occurred along Elm Street, between Orchard Street and Sherman Avenue late in the morning.
Authorities say the officers were conscious following the shootings. There was no other information available on their conditions.
