Time To Consider Flu Shot

(Meriden, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The transition from summer to autumn has begun.  That means thoughts of the coming flu season.
Last year’s flu outbreak was historically bad.  While health officials haven’t yet said what to expect this year, those with Meriden-based Protein Sciences are again developing the Flublok vaccine.
It was found to be more effective than the traditional egg-based vaccine.
