Tax Relief For Crumbling Foundations

HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Repair costs for crumbling foundations plaguing potentially thousands of Connecticut homeowners can be deducted on federal tax returns, US Reps. John Larson and Joe Courtney announced Wednesday.
Larson called the ruling from the U.S. Treasury and IRS “huge.” The deduction will be valid for tax returns and amended returns filed after Nov. 21.
