Suspicious Substance Leads To Early Dismissal

(Thomaston, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Thomaston High School has been dismissed early, after a white powder was found in an art room today.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says while the discovery was of a low crediability variety, the school erred on the side of caution while field tests were being done.
DEEP says the substance was to be analyzed at a lab if it can’t be determined what it was.
