Suspect Sought In Willimantic Standoff

(Willimantic, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Willimantic police say they have been in contact with the suspect in an armed robbery and standoff that ended this morning with the suspect eluding capture.
Police Corporal Stan Parizo says it started Sunday night when two women were robbed at gunpoint on Gem Drive.
The victims were not injured and were robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.
