Suspect In Groton Shooting Captured Near Canada

GROTON, Conn. (AP) – A man suspected in the killing of a good Samaritan who intervened in an assault outside a bar has been detained at the Canadian border.
Groton Police Chief L. J. Fusaro says 30-year-old Dante Hughes was detained on Tuesday in Canada by Canadian Border Services.
He says Hughes is being held pending legal procedures to bring him back to the United States.
