Suspect Arrested In Old Lyme Bank Job

(Old Lyme, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – State police have arrested a suspect in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week in Old Lyme.
Early this morning, they picked up 38-year-old Herman Smith of Groton.
Smith is accused of entering a Webster Bank branch on Halls Road in Old Lyme a little before noon on Wednesday and making off with an undetermined amount of cash.
Troopers obtained the arrest warrant for Smith on Thursday.
