Suit Against New London School Board Tossed Out

NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) – A judge has tossed out a Chicago educator’s lawsuit against New London’s board of education and its chairwoman.
Terrence Carter sued for more than $15,000 claiming they breached an agreement to hire him.
The board voted in 2014 to appoint Carter as the superintendent of the school system. The vote was postponed after newspaper articles were published questioning his credentials.
The board voted to rescind his hiring after an investigation revealed that
