Study: Holocaust Trauma Can Be Inherited

NEW YORK (CBS Connecticut) — A new study finds that the trauma experienced by Holocaust survivors can be passed on to their children.
The study was conducted by researchers from Mount Sinai hospital in New York by analyzing the genes of 32 Jewish men and women who had either been held at a Nazi concentration camp, witnessed or experienced torture or who had to hide during World War II and the genes of their children.
