Strong Storms Break Record-Heat Friday
Strong storms moved through Connecticut Friday afternoon. The storms brought thunder, lightning, and hail to areas of Coventry, Storrs, Glastonbury, Middletown, and other spots in the state. Strong storms began popping up Friday afternoon as the state saw record-breaking heat. The temperature reached 94 degrees at Bradley International Airport Friday, breaking the record of 92 set in 1961. Learn more...
