Storms continue moving through the state this evening

Storms that could be strong or severe continue to move through parts of Connecticut this evening. A severe thunderstorm warning for Fairfield County has expired. The day started with partly sunny skies across the state. The weather will be very warm and humid. Scattered thunderstorms are expected this evening.
