State Parks Look At Ways To Cope With 17% Budget Cut

As Gov. Dannel P. Malloy proposes $2 million in budget cuts to the budget for state parks, park managers are developing a plan that could reduce hours at some parks and campgrounds, end the summer season at Labor Day instead of in October, eliminate some environmental education programs at nature centers and defer maintenance at park facilities.
