Shooting briefly evacuates Washington’s Union Station

WASHINGTON — A security guard shot a man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend in Washington’s Union Station on Friday, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier told CNN.
Both the female stabbing victim and male shooting victim were being treated for their injuries, D.C. Police tweeted.
According to Gwendolyn Crump, director of communications with the Metropolitan Police Department, a security guard witnessed the woman being stabbed by the suspect and gave chase. Armed with a knife, the suspect
