Serious Crash Closes Route 2 Eastbound In East Hartford

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) – A serious crash closed Route 2 eastbound in East Hartford Thursday afternoon.
State police say the crash, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m., involved two tractor trailer trucks and two passenger vehicles.
Serious injuries were reported, said troopers.
Traffic was being taken off the highway at Exit 5A.
