Route 8 South In Derby Reopened After Crash

DERBY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A truck rollover closed Route 8 southbound in Derby late Saturday morning.
State police say the crash, in the area of Exit 16, was reported just after 11:30 a.m. One person suffered life-threatening injuries, said troopers.
Life Star helicopter was requested to the scene.
All lanes of the highway were reopened shortly after 4 p.m., according to state police. Some of the Exit 16 ramps remained closed.
