Route 8 reopens in Thomaston after car overturns

THOMASTON–Route 8 in the northbound direction has reopened after being closed due to a car accident. An overturned motor vehicle caused the highway to shut down between exits 39 and 41. The accident was reported around 5:20 p.m, and the highway reopened about 45 minutes later.
