Route 8 reopens in Thomaston after accident

THOMASTON – A two-vehicle accident closed Route 8 northbound between exits 38 and 39 Thursday afternoon. The left lane remained closed, even after the rest of the road opened. The road fully reopened just before 5 p.m. No word yet on what caused the crash.
