RHAM Teacher Dies; Was Struck In West Hartford Accident

(CBS Connecticut) — A teacher at RHAM High School in Hebron tied last night, almost a week after being struck by a vehicle in West Hartford.
West Hartford Police announced that Andrej Cavarkapa died of his injuries at Saint Francis Hospital.
The crash took place near the intersection of Asylum Avenue and Trout Brook Drive.
Cavarkapa was struck by a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old.  Witnesses said the driver had a green light.
