Regulator Rejects Iberdrola Plan To Buy Connecticut Utility

Connecticut regulators have taken a step toward rejecting a plan by Iberdrola, Spain's leading electricity and natural gas utility, from buying UIL Holdings Corp. in a $3 billion deal.
