Primary election day in Connecticut: Wednesday, September 16
HARTFORD — Twenty three cities and towns are gearing up for primary voting in September, according to Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise Merrill.
Merrill is reminding everyone this Election Day is different from other years.
That’s because it is happening on a Wednesday (Sept. 16), instead of a Tuesday.
According to State Law, it has to do with the Labor Day holiday hitting on Monday, Sept. 7.
