Police: Vernon woman embezzled $400k from disability services group

COVENTRY — A Vernon woman is facing several charges after police said she embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from a group that provides services to people with disabilities. Police arrested Michelle Labrec, 52, Wednesday after a ten month investigation, Coventry Police Chief Mark Palmer said Thursday.
