Police Investigating Assault With A Motor Vehicle

(VERNON,Conn./CBS Connecticut) –  A 31 year old  Manchester man was  struck by a vehicle  on Orchard Street , near Union Street in the Rockville section of Vernon early Thursday morning.Police say the victim was fleeing an altercation on nearby West Main Street.It began in an  apartment and spilled into the street, where a vehicle had its tires slashed.
