Police determine that Hamden fatal pedestrian crash was a hit-and-run

HAMDEN — Though Hamden Police did not originally believe it to be a hit-and-run, they are now investigating a fatal pedestrian crash as such. On Sunday, police responded around 2 a.m. to reports of a crash on Dixwell Avenue. They found Harris Tendler, 58, of Hamden, dead.
