Pickup Truck Slams Into Branford Package Store

BRANFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Branford police report no injuries after a pickup truck crashed into a package store at 317 East Main Street Monday evening.
Police say the truck was in the parking lot and had backed away from the building when it got stuck between a utility pole and a support wire around 8:15 p.m. As the driver was trying to dislodge the truck, she accelerated and truck lurched forward, striking the building, causing significant damage, said police.
