Person dead after fiery crash on Route 198 in Woodstock

A person has died after a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 198 in Woodstock Wednesday night. Bungay Fire Chief David Elliott said a car crashed into a pole and caught fire in the Bungay district of town. Authorities said a person has died and Connecticut State Police are conducting an investigation. The person’s identity is unknown at this time....
