Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Vehicle

(GRANBY,Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on East Street in Granby at about 7:30 tonight. The victim , a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver remained at the scene. East Street is closed due to the investigation.The road is expected to be closed until about 11:30 pm.
Police say the best alternate route is Mechanicsville Road.
