One pet dead after fire in Windsor Locks home

WINDSOR LOCKS – Fire damaged a home and left one dog dead, late Thursday night. The fire happened at 8 Pleasant St. just before 12 a.m. Firefighters found heavy flames on the first floor. Three pets were inside the home. No one was injured but one dog died. The Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating.
