One person stabbed in New Haven deli robbery

NEW HAVEN — New Haven police are investigating a robbery and stabbing that happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday inside the Deli Haven Market on George Street.
Witnesses said two men entered the deli; one of them had a knife and ordered the clerk to open the cash register.
When the clerk opened the register, the crook grabbed cash and ran.
A clerk at a nearby business heard the commotion and confronted the fleeing men. One stabbed him in the arm, police said.
