One Dies When Tree Falls On Car

(STAMFORD,Conn./WTIC News) – One person was killed and another was taken to an area hospital for evaluation when a tree fell on their car on the Merritt Parkway in Stamford Friday afternoon.The tree toppled near Exit 33 southbound in strong winds spawned by Friday’s Nor’easter.
The names of the victims have not been released. State Police continue to investigate.
