New report: shooting happened near, not on, MIT campus

CAMBRIDGE – MIT police confirm a shooting didn’t happen on MIT campus, recalling an earlier alert, according to myfoxboston.com.
The earlier alert reported an active shooter on campus and asked everyone on campus to seek shelter and barricade the door.
According to Cambridge Police one person suffered non-life threatening injuries on Portland Street.
