Man who drove car into Middlesex Hospital dies

BRIDGEPORT -- Bridgeport Hospital confirmed that Steven Ellam, the man who drove his car into Middlesex Hospital then set himself on fire, has died.
Steven Ellam has passed from his injuries. I'd like to remind the people of Middletown that his family are part of our community and they need and deserve support. Please show them the respect of sensitivity as they grieve.
