Man thought to be in Connecticut River found safe at home

EAST HADDAM — Rescue crews were looking for a man and a boat on the Connecticut River, but crews said that he was indeed home, safe.
Crews were staged at the Salmon River Boat Launch in East Haddam.
Crews from Chester and Lyme had also assisted in the search along with East Haddam fire rescue.
