Man Shot On New Haven Street

(NEW HAVEN,Conn./WTIC News) – A 19 year old man was shot in the area of Poplar and Clay Streets in New Haven shortly before 7:30 Thursday night.
Joshua Santiago of Hamden was shot twice, possibly during a robbery attempt.He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he is listed in serious,but stable condition.
The assailant or assailants fled on foot.
