Man drowns in Middletown reservoir

MIDDLETOWN–Officials recovered a body from a pond in Middletown on Wednesday afternoon.
The man who drowned was in his 20s, and sources tell Fox CT he was in the water for about an hour before rescuers pulled him out.
Hospital officials, a dive team, the fire department and police all responded to the reservoir on Bow Lane, down a dirt road along Jeep Trail.
Around 4:40 p.m. the victim’s body was loaded into an ambulance and taken away.
