Man Dies in Crash on Route 8 in Trumbull

Trumbull, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A 55-year-old Ansonia man is dead after a crash along Route 8 in Trumbull.
William Pollock was driving his truck when he collided into the back of a box truck. His truck became entangled in the truck he hit so both vehicles pulled over.
Pollock was conscious and alert and exited his vehicle, but soon thereafter became unresponsive and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital and pronounced dead.
No on else was injured and the crash remains under investigat
