Man arrested for assaulting Quinnipiac student

HAMDEN – Police arrested a 19-year-old for assaulting a Quinnipiac University student.
Sunday Okoro works with a moving company that was doing work at Quinnipiac Saturday.
Police said Okoro got into an altercation with a female student that turned physical when he pushed her and threw her to the ground.
School public safety officers detained him until Hamden Police arrived.
Okoro was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint, and breach of peace.
