Lake Waramaug swimming area closed until Tuesday

KENT – The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has closed the state swimming area at Lake Waramaug. DEEP had closed the area earlier in the week. They said retesting is scheduled for Monday, July 6 with results expected July 7. All other state park swimming areas are open.
