Much like UConn in 2016, Virginia struggled. The Cavaliers were just 2-10 in the first year under Bronco Mendenhall, who surprised many by leaving BYU to come to Charlottesville. Like the Huskies, who endured a six game losing streak to end the season, Virginia lost its final seven games.
