I-95 north closed in Statford after egg truck crash

STRATFORD, Conn.  — Northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Connecticut are expected to remain closed for the rush hour as workers clean up after the crash of a tractor-trailer filled with eggs.
The truck caught fire, but no one was injured.
The highway backed up Monday morning to exit 27 in Bridgeport. The accident occurred between exits 33 and 34 at the Stratford-Milford town lines.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
