House Damaged In Fire

(NEW BRITAIN,Conn./CBS Connecticut) –  A   single family home at 286 Lewis Road in New Britain was damaged  in a Monday  a afternoon fire.Upon arrival  firefighters found  fire showing  at the front  of the  house  and in the attic.There was heavy fire and smoke damage throughout the house.
One person was in the home at the time and escaped without injury.One firefighter was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
