Hearing Upcoming On Storm Water Rules

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is holding a public informational meeting on a proposed permit for the discharge of storm water municipal water systems.
The hearing is scheduled to be held Thursday at the Gina McCarthy Auditorium at DEEP’s headquarters in Hartford.
The permit was first issued in 2004. It covers the discharges from municipal storm sewer systems in 113 cities and towns across Connecticut.
