Hartford Police Sergeant Dies

(HARTFORD,Conn./WTIC News) – Hartford Police are mourning the loss of Sergeant Liam Pesce, who died suddenly Thursday night.Pesce had been a member of the department since 2004 and was promoted to Sergeant in 2012.
In a statement Deputy Chief Brian Foley said Pesce’s “friendly demeanor and professionalism will be missed by all”
Hartford Police Officers will be wearing mourning bands on their badges in honor of Sergeant Pesce.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
