Hartford Councilman Yanks Dillon Stadium Proposal

(Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A resolution to develop land in Hartford for a new soccer stadium has been withdrawn.
City Councilman Ken Kennedy says while he believes in the Dillon Stadium project, too many questions have surfaced surrounding the developer, James Duckett.
The “Hartford Courant” has reported that Duckett was convicted years ago on an embezzlement charge.
The issue was to have been the subject of a planning and zoning public hearing later this month.
