Guilty Plea In Embezzlement Case

VERNON, Conn. (AP) – A former Connecticut woman has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $400,000 from her East Windsor employer and funneling itthrough her dead mother’s bank account.
The Journal-Inquirer reports that 53-year-old Michele Labrec pleaded guilty last week to first-degree larceny and faces sentencing on Nov. 3.
Labrec used to live in Coventry but now lives in New York.
