Former Teacher Charged With Disorderly Conduct

(Shelton, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A former Shelton High School teacher is facing charges after police say he tried to kiss a student while out at dinner.
They say the charge stems from an complaint filed in April by the 17-year-old against 57-year-old George Perduta.
The alleged victim told police that night, Perduta asked questions about their relationship that made her uncomfortable and when Perduta attempted to kiss her, she pulled away, the kiss landing on her forehead.
